It has been a long and promising 2014 NBA Summer League for both Tim Ohlbrecht and Danilo Barthel, that started in Orlando and came to a close in Las Vegas.
“We are thankful to the Miami Heat, Detroit Pistons and Denver Nugget for the opportunity they provided Tim and Danilo over the last month to learn and showcase their talents,” said Scorers 1st CEO and NBA and FIBA certified agent Gerrit Kersten-Thiele.
“Watching our players train and compete against top NBA draft picks, players and free agents from around the world in Orlando and Las Vegas is part of our development and career planning at Scorers 1st. We now look forward to Tim and Danilo’s individual growth on the court as they prepare for the upcoming 2014-15 season.”
During the 2014 Orlando Summer League, both Danilo Barthel and Tim Ohlbrecht used the experience to showcase their versatile abilities for the Miami Heat and Detroit Pistons.
Playing for the Heat, Barthel (6-foot-10, 220 pounds) was highly active defensively and remained aggressive offensively throughout his time in Orlando. Barthel finished with 3 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block in 13 minutes in Miami's 85-77 win against the Boston Celtics.
