First as always I will like to thank the man upstairs for giving me the chance to reflect, and share my journey with you all.
What's up? This season playing in France has been a great year so far. I am enjoying my first pro experience in Europe a lot -- the village of Gries is really excited for our upcoming games and our huge French Cup opportunity as we move closer to the end of the season.
We are now on a three-game winning streak, which has helped any temporary personal challenges I have faced with adapting to the overall culture here in Europe and growing as a player on the floor. When you win games, it helps the rhythm of the transition.
The best part about this journey from playing at Fresno State to Santa Clara and now finally in France this season, is all of my teammates. I am surrounded by a great group of men, which has resulted in a strong cohesive culture we've cultivated. This makes it a lot easier to work and enjoy myself.
I love my job, and when I'm not training, traveling, or reading scouting reports I enjoy relaxing at home.
I have a lot of different games, but my favorite is NBA2k. If I'm not playing 2k, I am on my computer surfing the net, working on my grad school final thesis project, reading, or downloading R&B music. Now that I am settled here in Gries after arriving last August, I have become kind of a homebody. When I first got here I would do a lot of sightseeing. As the season intensifies, my body becomes a little more fatigue, therefore staying off my feet during leisure time is very important.
Right now I'm reading a book called, “Your Favorite Here”. It's a great book, and I suggest it to you all. It has a lot of motivational tools, and spiritual messages that you maybe able to apply to your own life. Thank you for reading my blog. Have a great one, until next time.
