All of Larry Gordon's hard work continues to pay off.
We are extremely proud to pass along the news that Gordon has been selected to the BEKO BBL AllStar Game as a reserve for Team International the league announced today.
The honor is well-deserved for the Phoenix Hagen's swingman.
"This is very exciting time for both Larry and Scorers 1st. Since coming out of a small Division 2 school (Cal Poly Pomona) and now watching him grow into an AllStar in Germany, I am so unbelievably proud of Larry and all he has accomplished," said Scorers 1st CEO and NBA and FIBA certified agent Gerrit Kersten-Thiele.
"We can't wait to cheer him on at the AllStar Game."
Gordon currently leads the league in rebounding with 8.2 rebounds per game and ranks 6th in scoring at 16 points per game, and remains one of the most efficient players in the BEKO BBL.
Last season, Gordon participated in the AllStar Game in both the Slam Dunk and Three-Point Shootout competitions. But this time around holds a different feeling, as Gordon will compete at an AllStar level against Team National on January 18, 2014 in Bonn, Germany.
Best of luck to Larry Gordon at the BEKO BBL AllStar Game and the rest of this season with Phoenix Hagen.
