Annika is a very versatile Power Forward who can stretch the defense with a deadly 3 point shot, but can also be an inside threat. She is a very smart player with a high basketball IQ who runs the floor well and has a strong pick and roll/pop game.
She emerged as one of the top players for Old Dominion midway through her senior season and averaged 11.1 points and 5.6 rebounds in the last 14 games of the season (all starts).
Annika is a member of the Finnish National Team and played for TSV Wasserburg in the 2017-2018 season, where she competed in EuroCup Women (8 points and 4 rebounds). In the 2018-2019 season, Annika played for Gdansk in Poland.
She played in Iceland for the 2020-21 season and dominated the league, averaging 27 points and 10 rebounds.
