"My goal is to be the best guard I can be when I step on the floor, which means doing all the little things and making sure my team is running smoothly, and obviously defending and rebounding and making my teammates better."
It's a rare accomplishment to lead the nation in a statistical category, and Campbell's steadfast consistency placed her at the top for much of the season.
The 5-foot, 10-inch senior was the team linchpin who synchronized an offense that was No. 2 in the country in scoring at 85 points a game. With Kelly leading the Blue Demons up tempo attack, the senior dominated opponents in all phases of the game. However, her decision making ability while playing at a breakneck speed is unreal; she played 33 games, at an average of 33 minutes per game and only turned the ball over 33 times the entire season.
Along with leading the nation in assist-turnover ratio (6.28 : 1), Kelly also finished No. 4 in assists and No. 5 in three-point percentage. The All-Big East standout averaged nearly nine points a game and led the team in rebounds (8.1 per game), assists (6.1 per game) and three-point percentage (.460) which also topped the BIG EAST.
She drove DePaul to a 28-5 record in her final season, pushing her career record to 108 wins and 29 losses. In the process helped DePaul qualify for its 18th consecutive NCAA tournament appearance along with the Blue Demons' sixth BIG EAST regular-season title in the last seven years and a three-peat BIG EAST tournament crown.
Campbell made her presence felt all over the court with a fierce will to win and an unselfish approach that made her teammates better. The ultra competitive, all-purpose guard displays an elite level basketball IQ, decision making, shot making, ball handling, rebounding, and mental toughness.
Kelly averaged 15 points, 7.5 rebounds and 6 assists, while shooting 40% from the field for Donau-Ries in the German DBBL. She was the MVP of the Top Four Cup Final at the beginning of the season, where she averaged 25 points per game as well as 8 rebounds.
