SCOUTING REPORT

Marie was selected in the 1st round of the 2018 WNBA draft after averaging 17.5 points (65% FG!!!), 9.2 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game for Oregon State.

She is a dominant force on both ends of the floor. The German native earned All-American honors and was voted the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year in her senior year at Oregon. Harder to quantify but undeniable nonetheless, teammates and coaches said she developed into a true leader and team's tone-setter.

Offensively, the 6'5 post has a very versatile skill set: She can play with her back to the basket, has a nice fade-away, a very consistent mid-range jumper and can attack the rim off the dribble.

After her first WNBA season with the Phoenix Mercury, Marie signed with EuroCup Team Reyer Venezia for the 2018-2019 season. In her first season with the team, Marie averaged 12 points and 7 rebounds, while shooting 54%.

She finished up her second season in the WNBA, playing for the Atlanta Dream, averaging 3.3 pts and 3.0 rebs per game. In the 2019-2020 season, Marie played in Poland for league champion Arka Gdynia.  She averaged 10 pts and 7 rebs, while shooting an amazing 57% from the field.

She will be playing for the LA Sparks in the 2020 WNBA season.
