Maira currnetly plays for TK Hannover Luchse in Germany’s top women’s league, the DBBL. Known for her versatility and energy on the court, she has already gained valuable experience at the professional level, contributing consistently throughout the 2024–25 season.
Internationally, Banko has represented Germany at the FIBA U18 Women’s European Championship and is an active member of the German National 3×3 program, competing this summer in the FIBA 3x3 Youth Nations League along with other competitions.. As a promising young talent, she continues to develop her game while making her mark in both league and international play.
