Abby began her professional career in Slovakia with Young Angels Košice of the Slovak Women’s Extraliga. Over the 2024–25 season she averaged 14.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, shooting 47% FG and 38% from beyond the arc.
Prohaska had a strong collegiate career, playing for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and later for San Diego State Aztecs. During her college career Abby played in the NCAA National Championship title game and competed in muiltiple conference tournament finals. In her senior year at San Diego State, she stepped into a starting role, averaging over 10.2 pts, 5.6 rebs and 3 ast per game, which earned her All-Mountain West First Team Honors.
