Bianca Helmig

Helmig played her university basketball career at Acadia University, competing for the Axewomen in the Atlantic University Sport conference of U SPORTS. She joined the program in 2022 and made an immediate impact as a point guard, earning conference Rookie of the Year honors and a place on the U SPORTS All-Rookie Team in her first season. During that same year, she helped lead her team to the AUS championship final and a fifth-place finish at the national championships, establishing herself early as one of the top newcomers in Canadian university basketball.
