Drafted by the Los Angeles Sparks in the 2020 WNBA Draft, Leonie has developed into one of the most versatile and impactful players in Europe while also making her mark in the WNBA.


She earned EuroLeague All-Star Five honors and was named MVP of the Spanish league in back-to-back seasons, underlining her consistency and dominance at the highest level.


In the 2024 WNBA season, she joined the New York Liberty and made an immediate impact, contributing to the team’s championship run with her versatility, defensive presence, and ability to perform in key moments.


On the international stage, Leonie played a pivotal role in Germany’s historic Olympic qualification, averaging 18 points and 7 rebounds, and helping lead the team to the quarterfinals.


With her unique combination of size, skill, and high basketball IQ, Leonie is a true two-way player who can impact the game in multiple ways, making her a constant matchup challenge.
