Gorman has steadily built an impressive club career since beginning in Australia. After early stints with the Albury‑Wodonga Bandits and the Diamond Valley Eagles, she signed with the Ballarat Miners in the NBL1 South. In 2023 she joined the Cockburn Cougars in the NBL1 West, led them to their first women’s championship, earned Grand Final MVP and was named Defensive Player of the Year. Shortly thereafter she signed with the Perth Lynx of the Australian WNBL.
Her college career began at Utah State, before transferring to the University of San Diego. In her final collegiate season, Steph averaged 10.5 points in 31.6 minutes per game, developing a reputation for being a knock down shooter and versatile two-way game.
